What to Eat
The food we are going to have today is Kimchi stew. It is $5.90 for one serving, but they have a combo, so we ordered the first combo.
- Bodalla set: Kimchi stew(2-3 servings) +Egg roll +Ramyun noodles
- Bodalso set: Kimchi stew(2-3 servings) + Egg roll + Soju
- Joongdalla set: Kimchi stew(3-4 servings) + Egg roll +Ramyun noodles
- Extra cheese for Egg roll ($0.85)
We’ve got our kimchi stew first! We also get ramyun noodles for kimchi stew but you don’t have to put it right away.
Ramyun itself is fried, so you will miss the chance to feel the original taste of this stew. No one wants to miss that amazing experience, right? Although I personally like the soup after ramyun noodles are added, let’s enjoy the real kimchi stew first.
What is so special here?
The thing I really like about this place is that they put lots of pork in kimchi stew. There is even a phrase on the wall, saying ” Don’t be stingy with the meat, or we will be screwed.”
I can feel their confidence and spirit. They guarantee the amount of the meat they provide. This is the biggest reason why I like this restaurant.
Before the broth gets thicker, it tastes more like kimchi itself, but if you keep boiling, the juice & fat from the pork & the kimchi are harmonized so well. Thus, it gets much deeper and more flavorful. You will love it!
This spicy & sour soup really goes well with egg rolls. Thus, make sure to order this amazing combo.

This looks unreal, right? This spicy & sour soup really goes well with egg rolls. When you feel the strong spicy and sour taste, put this massive and mild egg roll in your mouth. It is so big, so you can’t say anything for a minute. Just enjoy it!
FYI, personally, I like the egg roll with cheddar cheese in it. Thus, we paid extra 85 cents to get this upgraded cheese egg roll.
+ Ramyun Noodles (라면사리)
If you enjoyed enough kimchi stew itself, let’s put the ramyun noodles in. If you don’t have enough broth for ramyun, you can refill the broth.
Thanks to the ramyun noodles, the soup gets much flavorful now. It was clean and delicate, but now it is heavier. It makes me eat more rice than usual 🙂
